SIR – Walking in the Hampshire woodland, I found two fox cubs. So pretty with their orange fur and eager puppy faces, they looked perfect lying side by side – except that they were dead. I cannot understand how anyone could be so callous or so cruel as to shoot a creature as beautiful as a fox cub. For shame!
