Weekly letter from Caroline Nokes, MP for Romsey and Southampton North

Super Saturday’ as it was billed, turned out to be more of a frustration than anything else, given the Meaningful Vote did not occur. I voted against the Letwin amendment because I felt it was important to progress with the vote on the deal as soon as possible. I would have been content to have sat through the night, indeed the whole weekend should it have been necessary. I had hoped to vote in favour of moving on to the next stage of negotiations, with a deal in place.
