I despair at some of the new developments going up in and around Hampshire. Many developers seem to think that the solution to all our problems are solved by piling as many houses in to as small a space as possible as quickly as possible. The tragedy is that it is so often a wasted and lost opportunity to link new development to a more sustainable future. Volume house builders seem to have one concept of growth-maximum return, minimum effort.
