The Old House at Home in Love Lane is one of Romsey’s long-established surviving pubs, and one that has not felt the need to change its name. How old it is is unknown, although Love Lane is a medieval street, originally called ‘Lullane’ and deeds survive from 1774. The original part of the building is thatched over a timber frame.
